Ring Joint Gasket (RTJ)
Precision-machined for the highest-pressure oil and gas flanged connections.
Ring joint gaskets are solid metallic sealing elements machined from bar stock for use in API ring-type joint flanges. They are the preferred gasket for high-pressure wellhead equipment, Christmas trees, and high-pressure pipeline connections in oil and gas production. PrecisionSeal machines RTJ gaskets in oval and octagonal profiles to API 6A and ASME B16.20 dimensional standards with close tolerances that ensure leak-free sealing under extreme pressure.

PTFE Gasket
Unmatched chemical resistance for corrosive process lines, pharmaceutical, and food applications.
PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) gaskets are the go-to sealing solution wherever chemical resistance is the primary concern. PrecisionSeal manufactures PTFE gaskets in full-face and raised-face profiles from virgin PTFE, expanded PTFE (ePTFE), and filled PTFE (glass-filled, carbon-filled, stainless-filled) to suit different mechanical requirements. FDA-compliant virgin PTFE grades for pharmaceutical and food-grade service are available with certificates.
Key Features

Graphite Gasket
The highest-temperature non-metallic gasket for furnaces, reactors, and high-pressure steam lines.
Flexible graphite gaskets are manufactured from pure exfoliated graphite, offering exceptional performance at extreme temperatures where PTFE and rubber fail. PrecisionSeal supplies plain flexible graphite gaskets, SS 316 tang-reinforced graphite (for improved blow-out resistance), and metallic-core reinforced graphite sheets and cut gaskets. These are the standard choice for refinery process flanges, steam boiler connections, and high-temperature reactor nozzles.
Key Features
- Withstands continuous temperatures up to 650°C in steam and inert gas service — where no other non-metallic gasket performs
- Tang-reinforced type eliminates blow-out risk under rapid pressure surges — required for high-pressure steam flanges
- Excellent chemical resistance to most fuels, oils, and industrial chemicals (not strongly oxidising acids)
- Self-lubricating surface reduces flange face damage on disassembly and reassembly during maintenance
