How a single workshop in India grew into India’s leading gasket manufacturer
PrecisionSeal Industries was founded in 1986 in the India, at a time when quality industrial sealing products were difficult to source locally. The industrial corridor stretching from India was expanding rapidly, and refineries, chemical plants, and engineering companies were importing gaskets at high cost or settling for inconsistent domestic supply. Our founder saw an opportunity not just in the gap, but in the responsibility — to build a manufacturing unit that Indian industries could genuinely depend on.
The early years were built on one principle: a gasket that fails costs the client far more than the gasket itself. Refinery shutdowns, equipment damage, safety incidents — the real cost of a poor gasket is always higher than the purchase price. From the very beginning, every product that left our facility was tested under operating conditions, documented, and backed with a commitment to replace without question if it underperformed. That commitment turned our first clients into long-term partners, and word travelled through the industrial estates around industrial clusters, industrial clusters, and industrial estate.
Through the 1990s and 2000s, PrecisionSeal grew alongside India’s industrial expansion.
